I feel like the battle themes in Banner Saga give off a slower, more dreary. For that I'm willing to jump through the hoops to get some of these things to work. Once again, let me say that the Steam Deck has been an amazing piece of tech that has allowed me to game when I wouldn't have otherwise been able to. That is not a great process for enabling a core feature of a game and I'm kinda astounded that it was allowed to get through the Verified state with that workaround being required. Then, copy the save file of the original game, go all the way back up to where you select the second game's file and drop the file onto the emulated C: drive of the second game. locale and from there drive through multiple subfolders to get to the drive you're looking for. No, you have to enable the hidden files, go into. These apps cannot be found by simply hopping into Desktop mode and going to their save file locations. ![]() What I've found though, is that Steam creates a unique C: drive for every game that is installed, and this is a hidden file location. This is a core aspect of the game, basically allowing you to play a game where your decisions build upon one another. #The banner saga rap how toI've spent probably 2 hours trying to figure out how to import my saves into Banner Saga 2. I wouldn't have made a post though if this was the only problem. Even allowing for the community to post updated reviews that are visible to the public of the Verified system would probably be enough (similar to their "recent reviews" section on the store page). I'm not sure if Valve goes back and Re-Verifies titles but they definitely need to do something to state that some of these games are not going to run 100% smoothly out of the box. Thankfully the game saves often, but it's still very frustrating to finish a difficult boss battle just to have to do it again. There are crashes that occur frequently (3-4 over the course of a 2 hour play session). It's been a major improvement to my gaming capabilities over the last few months.īanner Saga has to be the first truly negative experience I've had on the Steam Deck, and it's a verified title.
